The Delhi Metro links the Delhi Airport and New Delhi, which has now driven our National Capital to the league of global cities that have high-speed rail connectivity. A high-speed rail has been launched to connect Central Delhi with the Delhi Airport.
Beginning at Dwarka Sector 21 and travelling right up to the New Delhi Railway Station, this "Orange Line" is operated by Delhi Metro.
Running 15.7 kms underground and 7 kms on an elevated rail at 80 kmph, the Airport Express Line connects some of the most prominent points within New Delhi. With a travel time of fewer than 25 minutes from one end to the other, the Delhi Metro Airport Express Line literally brings the Airport closer to the heart of the city.

Passengers can get tokens or smart card from the ticket counters at the station. In order to avoid long queues at the ticketing counter, the option of an automatic ticket issuing machine (TIM) is also available at T3 domestic and international arrivals and outside T1 Arrivals.

Buses are the most common way to travel around the city. Delhi boasts of the World's largest CNG powered bus networks. This is to curb the pollution in the National Capital.
The corporation runs shuttle services at regular intervals (every 30 minutes) connecting the airport to the central parts of Delhi including Connaught Place & Interstate Bus Terminal.
All buses plying towards Terminal 3 halt at a 'staging area' located opposite Centaur Hotel. From this area to the Airport Terminal, Delhi Airport allocates a shuttle bus, every 15 minutes. For the convenience of our passengers, this service runs 24/7.
Regular bus services are available from inter-state bus terminals in the city. The services are extended to all the northern states and neighbouring areas of Delhi. The DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation has deployed a fairly large fleet of environment-friendly buses in different categories viz. Air-conditioned, Non-Air-conditioned covering all parts of Delhi.
